Ola Wlodek joins the inaugural She Steers cohort

She Steers is a Non-Executive Director (NED) development programme for women in life sciences, delivered by the BioIndustry Association (BIA), AstraZeneca, Deloitte and Murray Edwards College at the University of Cambridge. The inaugural cohort runs from 26 March to 4 June 2026.

Ola Wlodek, CEO of Constructive Bio, is one of roughly 26 women selected for the first cohort, alongside participants from organisations including AstraZeneca, Biogen, Immunocore and the Wellcome Sanger Institute.

The programme addresses a decline in female representation on UK biotech NED boards over recent years. It gives participants the frameworks and the peer network to step into their first NED role, or to strengthen an existing one.
