SynbiTECH 2025
IET London, Savoy Place, London, United Kingdom
9–10 December 2025
At SynbiTECH 2025 in London on 9 to 10 December, Constructive Bio CSO Jason Chin spoke on how reprogramming the genetic code enables cells to produce non-canonical biopolymers for next-generation materials and therapeutics. Helena Francis represented Constructive Bio at the Innovate UK stand alongside other engineering biology companies.

Presenter
Prof. Jason Chin PhD
CSO and Founder
Reprogramming the Genetic Code
Jason Chin presented on how rebuilding biology's deepest foundations, including new ribosomes, engineered tRNA systems, and organisms with fully synthetic genomes, enables the encoding of non-canonical biopolymers. The talk covered how this opens routes to entirely new classes of materials and medicines.
About the event
Jason Chin, CSO and founder of Constructive Bio, spoke at SynbiTECH 2025 on Day 1 on reprogramming the genetic code. Helena Francis represented the company at the Innovate UK stand alongside other grant recipients. Michael Skehan from the synthetic genomics team and Freddie Dudbridge also attended.
